The performance of 909, Lda. is and will always be guided by ethical principles in conducting its business and in the way it relates to its employees, the market, suppliers, customers and other interested parties.

We therefore declare full compliance with respect for human rights and the main labor and environmental protection standards. We share with our partners and customers the common goal of commitment to high social, ethical and environmental standards.

3. SCOPE AND OBJECTIVE

 

This code of conduct reflects the organizational culture of the company and establishes a set of rules of a moral nature and professional ethics to be observed by the Management of 909, Lda. and by all employees with regard to internal relationships, with work colleagues and external, with suppliers, subcontractors, partners, public entities and customers.

This Code of Ethics and Conduct was prepared with the aim of sharing the principles that govern the activity of 909, Lda. and the guidelines on ethics and morals that should guide the actions of all employees, including the ability to influence the behavior of third parties, fostering growing relationships of trust and transparency.

4. RULES OF CONDUCT

The following commitments must be fulfilled through this code of ethics and conduct:

• Respect and equal treatment for all workers;

• Support and protection of international human rights by creating ethical working conditions for all workers;

• Freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to negotiate collective bargaining agreements and the right to join trade unions or other associations linked to the industrial sector;

• No child labor and excessive overtime;

• Implementation of appropriate measures regarding safety and health conditions in the workplace;

• Development and use of technologies and products with better environmental performance;

• Measures related to the efficient use of resources;

• Responsible waste management and preventive approach to future environmental challenges;

• The company absolutely repudiates the practice of any act of corruption, extortion, bribery, fraud or falsification, guiding its actions by values of respect, transparency and compliance with the law, in accordance with OECD guidelines. 909 Ltd. created an anonymous reporting mechanism through the following email address: denuncias.909.pt@gmail.com.

• Business practices governed by integrity, honesty, fair dealing and full compliance with all legal requirements;

• Working hours and remuneration and in accordance with the national legislation in force, respecting the defined minimum wage;

• No forced or precarious labor or work in degrading conditions;

• Workplace free from hostile and inhuman treatment, harassment or sexual abuse, physical coercion or verbal abuse;

• No discrimination of any kind in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, retirement or entitlement to overtime based on race, ethnicity or nationality, religion, gender, age, disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, union affiliation, political affiliation, social origin or any other status.
